• Warehouse divided into 8 separate, autonomous and individually managed units

• Automatic sliding doors, 2-hour fire barrier
• Steel insulated roofing with a fire safety smoke extraction system built into a vaulted, filtering ceiling area

Security systems

• Fire detection : units equipped with ionic and U.V. sensors
• Fire protection : fire extinguishing ensured in 15 minutes maximum, by applying foaming agents
• Retention : each unit has its own tank
• Product detection : alarms located in each tank, to warn center of any problems
• Recovery : products are diverted, through a system of pipes, to larger capacity storage tanks
• Rainwater : all rainwater is collected and treated at a special station

Intervention

• Facility equipped with an on-site safety department providing immediate, primary intervention 24 hours a day
• CARE personnel receive training in handling hazardous products and in product and human safety
